Mauditt Hartley, England

Once a thriving agricultural hamlet, Mauditt Hartley spanned 1,400 acres of large farms but began to decline in the late 1700s. Today, only a few remnants remain, including some cottages and the dilapidated parish church known as St. Leonard.

This former Saxon settlement has since become a quiet refuge for woodland animals. According to local ghost stories, it is also said to be home to spirits from its storied past, adding an air of mystery to the landscape.
