Its working range is 320 miles, and it can carry 4,000 pounds of weight. The ATV has a 7.2L Caterpillar C7 turbo-diesel engine that powers it, and it stands about nine feet tall. The armour is composite Plasan. Since the program's launch, about 10,000 have been built, and there will be many more.
Oshkosh unveiled the 6×6—a new variation—in 2015. There are six wheels on this vehicle.It was intended to have more carrying capacity, able to carry three crew members and eight to twelve soldiers. The M-ATV 6x6 combines the independent suspension and all-wheel steer to provide increased off-roading and cargo capacity.
